Excursion to the Roihupelto metro depot!

Hello dear Linkki members!

We are proud to announce an excursion to the Roihupelto metro depot! The event will be held in English. The visit will be on the 23rd of May. We begin at the Itäkeskus metro platform, where our transport to the depot will leave at 16.00 and we will not be waiting for latecomers. There is room for 32 participants!

The event is hosted by Pääkaupunkiseudun Kaupunkiliikenne Oy (Metropolitan Area Transport Ltd). The company manages the public transport infrastructure in Helsinki and owns the tram fleet. They are responsible for developing and maintaining the public transport system as a whole. They operate the tramway and provide the metro operations as a aservice.

The visit will start of with a ride from Itäkeskus to the metro depot. During the event participants will need equipment such as helmets, safety vests and safety shoes. We are collecting information on these to make sure we will have enough for the visit. We are also asking for allergies and diets for coffee and snack. The visit will end some time past six.

The registration will open at 12.30 on the 8th of May and close at 23.59 on the 16th of May.
